WNYC is a public radio station based in New York, where it broadcasts using the frequencies 93.9 FM and 820 AM. It is also possible to listen live to WNYC anywhere in the world via online live streaming.

The station is focused on offering informative and educational content on a wide range of topics to its audience. Its line-up features a combination of the best and most popular programs from NPR, American Public Media, Public Radio Exchange and the BBC World Service as well as award-winning original content.

Its team of in-house news reporters includes names such as that of Matt Katz, Brigid Bergin, and Mirela Iverac.

WNYC Transmitter Park, a waterfront park in Brooklyn, opened its doors to the community in 2012 and has since become a sought-after destination by locals.
